Sharonjeev Benning-Prince has nearly 10 years experience as a solicitor in commercial corporate and life sciences matters, including the drafting and negotiation of documentation. She worked as a city lawyer and gained her experience in 2 US firms and 1 UK firm working on a variety of international matters. Since April 2008, Sharonjeev has been working in her own capacity as a consultant for a wide range of clients.  

EXPERIENCE RECORD  1998 to 2009

April 2008 - present

Acting as a consultant for Next-Generation Legal Consulting Ltd, Giles Dixon Legal Consultancy and drafting documentation for Contractstore.com. Clients include Associated British Foods, Summit Corporation plc, MySkincare Ltd.

2007 to 2008

Senior Associate, Bristows. Worked in the commercial and pharmaceutical regulatory departments on legal representative/agency agreements, clinical trials and internal business policies.

2002 to 2007

Senior and Junior Associate at Hogan & Hartson, London working on corporate acquisitions and commercial documentation such as confidentiality, intragroup, agency and distribution agreements and negotiating and drafting software licences and franchising arrangements. She further worked on the development of the UK life sciences practice and acted as the UK representative for the pan-European life sciences team.

1998 to 2002

Trainee and Junior Associate, Dewey Leboeuf LLP and seconded to Entergy LLC (now part of Merill Lynch).

Sharon received her LLB and LLM degrees at Queen Mary and University College of London.

Sharonjeev is a member of the Dynamic Asian Women Network and Women in Business and Entrepreneurs Association. She has further acted as a mentor for law students at the University of Manchester. She has co-authored a number of publications on a variety of Life Sciences activities and has chaired and presented at the IBC Medical Devices and Clinical Evaluations Conference in Belgium.

She is a member of The Law Society of England.
